In this paper the case of a 13 year old teenager with short stature is presented followed by a short diagnostic exercise through theanalysis of sequential and relevant complementary data. Short stature consultations are frequent in ambulatory practice and although a large proportion of them respond to a transient alteration of normal growth, their evaluation can be challenging for primary care physicians. It is therefore important to be familiar withthe most important aspects of its assessment
