Biosafety encompasses a set of specific norms that aim to prevent, reduce and / or eliminate any possible risk related to any research, production, technological development, teaching activity, including also providing services, seeking greater efficiency without whatever compromises human health, non-white populations and balance of the environment. The use of basic care is crucial to assist professionals in the technical conducts appropriate to the provision of services, through the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), in accordance with NR-6 of Ordinance No. 3,214, of 08.06. 78. Therefore, the present work is presented with the objectives of pointing out what are the benefits of the use of PPE by Community Health Agents (CHA) in their work routine. Realize that the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is essential for the health and safety of all professionals as well as being necessary for the execution of standards and routines.
