This work presents a preliminary design for a high-power, tunable resonant radiator. The device is composed of an Impulse Radiating Antenna integrated with a tunable Frequency Selective Surface (FSS) in the UHF band. By changing the separation between the components of the unit cells, a passband FSS with a tunability of around 300 MHz is obtained. The device can be used as a source for IEMI/EMC testing.
