International cooperation for Development (ICD), drug trafficking and territorial peace building processes are three topics of high importance in the present and in the forthcoming future of Colombia. The main objective of this research is to know ICD contributions to face drug trafficking problems and at the same time contribute to peace building processes in South Bolivar. The principal research finding was that drug trafficking is not a priority among international Cooperation agencies in South Bolivar within the territorial peace building framework, despite of it has been one of the main reasons for organized crime, guerrillas and paramilitary groups to operate in the zone.
