This paper shows a bibliometric analysis of the indexed literature in the Scopus database regarding of open innovation. This review and analysis is based on the treatment of all the records thrown by the database since 2015. Among the results there are the number of papers published per year (3,025 papers were analyzed), as well as the citations that the documents analyzed have received (17,910 citations have received the papers analyzed). The countries, institutions and authors with the highest production, the research areas and fields used by Scopus to classify its sources, and the main topics are presented. The analyzes are complemented with maps of concurrency networks, where the relation that may exist between areas, research fields and keywords are shown. Finally, conclusions are presented highlighting world trends on the subject.
