This article is a fragment of architectural research about project and has the work of Colombian architect Rogelio Salmona1 as the main theme. The objective is to recognize and study a work present in the period of greatest plurality of design strategies of the architect, Residencial Torres do Parque. Seeking to signify other issues related to dialogue with the place in which it is inserted. This reading proposes to go beyond the crystallized interpretations that began in the 1980s, in order to seek to overcome this rigid historiographic layer, which considers Rogelio Salmona’s architecture according to the reading of the brick surface and the appropriate personality to the Latin American context. In this article, the desire to revisit and confirm the importance of this architect is expressed, presenting the work Residencial Torres do Parque as an exemplary project of this condition.
