This thesis work called "Business Sustainability, a fractal look in search of a new attitude" aims to take a tour around the concept of Corporate Sustainability, taking the reader from what is currently understood and applied as sustainability, to a concrete and powerful proposal that allows us to make the leap towards a new and urgent attitude. The first chapter begins with the concepts that allow to approach the subject of study, so that the necessary conceptual tools are given for the construction of this master's thesis. On this matter, it is important to point out that there is not yet a unique definition of Corporate Sustainability, therefore this definition will be a point of arrival rather than departure.Sustainability lies in the ability to generate long-term processes in a selfsufficient way.In some cases, these processes may require resources (economic, intellectual, social, infrastructure) initially provided by public and/or private entities, but after some time, the process has to be able to stand on its own.It is pertinent to clarify that this self-support does not only refer to economic factors, but also to social, natural and political aspects. The first chapter deals with key concepts such as Responsibility and Ethics, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), and of course the Stakeholders, all around the company, which plays a leading and fundamental role in the understanding of Sustainability. In chapter two we present a detailed analysis of what companies do, how they do it, what their organizational schemes are, how much they invest, and above all, how they report their progress in sustainability, with the GRI (Global Reporting Initiative) methodology being the most used. For this, a sample of 20 companies was initially taken.Six of those companies, from different productive sectors, were chosen in order to establish the business sustainability trends, these companies are: EPM (Empresas Públicas de Medellín), Nutresa, Bancolombia, Cementos Argos, Isagen and Celsia. The project experience is a fundamental element in the development of the master's degree.Chapter three presents the project "Sacos Verdes" developed using the methodological approach proposed by FLACAM, leveraged in the company VIABLE S.A.S dedicated to consulting in environmental and sustainability issues.
