This article describes the design of a platform for remote monitoring and control of environmental variables for precision agriculture, flexible and low cost. For the construction of said platform, technologies were used with wireless sensor networks, based on the Zigbee communication protocol, using an embedded Arduino system, using free software and hardware. The network is composedby a central node (coordinator) and two nodes where the sensors are connected for the readings of the environmental variables and these are displayed in a graphical environment. Finally, the data is uploaded to the cloud so that the user can access the information in real time from anywhere.
