The Project has helped to solve many difficulties presented by deaf university students, in the communicative process, directly related to the contents of the subject Methodology of Scientific Research, in the Ibero-American University Corporation of Colombia.The general objective of the project was to contribute to an effective and efficient understanding of the contents of the Methodology of Scientific Research, of deaf students who train as professionals in that educational institution, through the use of technological tools and alternative communicative resources, while the specific objectives were to identify the set of concepts and categories that were communicative barriers in the process of understanding the content referred to the methodology of scientific research and explain the process of removing these barriers through their conceptualization in sign language and the use of new technologies.Methods, nonparticipating observation, focus groups, interview, and use of technologies, in this case a 2.0 web page.The results obtained; conceptualization of the main categories of the methodology of scientific research in the language of Colombian signs to achieve an effective and efficient understanding of them, and a technological tool in Colombian Sign Language, for the access to information from this branch of knowledge, for deaf students, in their natural language, or Colombian sign language.
