The analysis and reflections on the management of the migration phenomenon by Colombian authorities and on the recent developments of the normative framework on migration are contrasting. In this scenario, the Colombian Constitutional Court plays a key role in understanding these complex dynamics and in comprehending the possible future developments of the Colombian migration policy. This article reflects on this issue through the analysis of some of the most important decisions on this matter, with the aim of proposing it as a lens through which the case law of the Constitutional Court on migrants´ fundamental rights can be understood, especially regarding the rights of migrants coming from Venezuela.
