The present investigation aimed to publicize the application of the principle of the natural judge in disciplinary regimes that operate in general within public and private entities in Colombia.In such a way that through a methodology based on a qualitative approach and a deductive-systematic method it was possible to exhibit a solid, concrete and clear review of literature filled with multiple theoretical, epistemological and conceptual contents that deal with the basic notions of this In principle, the elements that integrate it, and its field of application in the different disciplinary regimes within the public and private entities in Colombia.Thus, the text allows us to conclude that the principle of the natural judge both in the light of the national and international legal system is based on the competence, preexistence, impartiality and independence of an administrative or judicial authority to know, investigate, punish and / or judge a specific case, which acts directly, transversally and immediately for all disciplinary processes that are carried out within public and private entities.
