This article aims to examine the chronicles written by the Argentinian journalist Leila Guerriero collected in her book Frutos extraños, considering the narrative voice that emerges on the textual surface.In this sense, despite of the fact that the chronicler is reluctant to appear in a significant number of Guerriero's chronicles, an intimate voice and a confessional tone are evident in others.
