The transporting system of Universidad de los Llanos has some issues in its organization given that, at the moment of defining the routes and stops, it is not possible to carry out feasibility, relevance or needs studies of the university community. Besides not having continuous monitoring of the routes to verify that the assigned distributions are appropriated. The current state of the transporting system has resulted in long waiting times for academic community, which has been evidenced in the amount of time per day of people whom arrives late from home to the University and vice versa. This causes losses of time, negative perceptions in the quality of the service and sometimes additional payment of public transport by the university community. To improve the assignment of these routes, it is necessary that georeferenced information can be collected of the current behavior of the transporting system of the Universidad de los Llanos, Barcelona Campus, as a support to the decision makers regarding the distribution and operation of the transporting system. Hence, this work presents a Web Information System based on Geographic Information Technologies based on information from a mobile application in a collaborative manner (crowdsourcing) for the collection, recording and analysis of georeferenced information of routes and users.
