The purpose of this paper is to make a descriptive approach to the theory of criminals proposed by Gustavo Duncan to the dynamics of the Organized Armed Groups in Tierraalta and San Jose de Ure during 2017 and 2018. To do this, we will briefly review the development and recent evolution of the Organized Armed Groups in Colombia, then we will examine the situation of the Department of Cordoba regarding Organized Armed Groups and finally the postulate about criminal economies will be related to the activity of Autodefensas Gaitanistas de Colombia and los Caparrapos in the municipalities of San Jose de Ure and Tierralta.
