The purpose of this paper is to reflect on the heteronormative logic that mainstreams relationships between the different actors constituting the university community (whose incongruity is expressed in everyday practice) and to raise the need to recognize and re-signify the relationships with people with non-hegemonic sexual orientations and gender identities as a fundamental aspect for achieving gender justice.
