Ecos de las Voces Ciudadanas en medio de gritos, susurros, coros y silencios en Medellín a finales del siglo XX. Huellas de periodismo público en la experiencia de Voces Ciudadanas
After 20 years of materializing the idea of the public journalism Voces Ciudadanas, the question about the dissociation of media agenda and citizen agenda is still valid. This article contextualizes, from the main political and social variables, the emergence of this experience from the data contained in the memory of Voces Ciudadanas that rests in the non systematized physical archive of the Urban Communication Research Group (GICU, for its acronym in Spanish) of the Faculty of Social Communication and Journalism of the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana, complemented with some media contents and related analysis texts was carried out. The outcome complements, as an initial transversal approach, the analysis of the contents and processes of the program, finding similarities or evolutions in the trip from 1998 to the recent applications of Voces. This connection are presented as a finding for reflect on the place of public journalism and its power as participation tool, like a measure of social and political consolidation to continue observing the dynamics of Medellín in the agenda of its citizens.
