Occupational low back pain is one of the most common musculoskeletal disorders in health personnel; This is due to complex work activities, which generate a greater physical and emotional workload.The purpose of this article is to determine the prevalence of occupational low back pain in Surgical Instructors and Nursing Assistants of a health institution in Barranquilla.The methodology is a descriptive-exploratory, cross-sectional, quantitative study in a sample of 82 health workers (Surgical Instructors and Nursing Assistants).For the data collection, a survey of osteomuscular symptoms modified by the NIOSH was used, keeping the corresponding ethical and methodological rigor.
