Abstract:

This study presents the results of the initial phase of a larger project, which aims to identify the determinants of tourism innovation from theory, in order to contrast them later against a contextual application in tourism corporations, hotels and clients.The methodology used was of a deductive nature of a qualitative and descriptive nature, in which bibliometric review was carried out in subscription databases (Scopus, Science direct and Ebsco) and free (Dialnet, Scielo, Redalyc) in the period 2013-2018.The above, allowed obtaining as a result, five determinants of innovation in tourism according to theory, these are: Market orientation, entrepreneurial orientation, ICT, cooperation or collaboration and social capital.
