Quality control process for the parts that together make up prosthesis and orthotics is of vital importance because it guarantees usability and operation for the people who need them. This article presents the design of an intelligent system that analyzes the quality variables that a polymeric injected part of small size must find process defects, dimensions or material deficiency. It is also possible to identify each part of the process that forms the methodology used for the elaboration of the system design: from the choice of the prosthetic assembly to work with; which depended on some special variables, such as the process of printing biomedical parts in the 3D printer for later analysis; how the Data Set was performed, thanks to a conventional photographic scenario that helped guarantee minimal quality aspects in the image such as shadows and noise, and the intelligent system created with artificial intelligence techniques such as artificial vision and fuzzy logic, which came together to analyze these parts by extracting previously defined qualitative characteristics by using artificial vision and tuning system design using logical rules, for decision making by Fuzzy logic.
