A simulation of the packaging process of the Licorera del Cauca Industry (ILC) was designed using the software "ProModel" in order to determine the impact of the times of each of the equipment in the production of liquors; The variables were determined as the cycle time of each one of the bottles, the resources such as the number of operators and the productive times; with this information, the simulation was carried out demonstrating that the process with the longest idle time is the packing with 76.2% where bottlenecks are presented. With the decrease to 2.5 minutes of the arrival of the pallets at the beginning of the process, the leisure time in each of the equipment of the packaging line was reduced.
