It is necessary the approach of the communication between family and educational institution for the benefit of academic training and coexistence of students, because communication is one of the most important actions that must be generated in the school context to promote the formative education of the student. For that reason, I worked with fifth grade students in the Mercedes Nariño District Educational Institution; it was reviewed the perception of parents and teachers regarding the communication between family, educational institution and academic management offered in the school institution for the benefit of linking the family and making them participate in the formative processes of the students. This research had a defined qualitative approach through the interpretations of the participants, an interpretative scope in which it was observed and reflected especially in the communication given in the school context, as well as a phenomenological design based on the description and analysis given by the participants.
