The didactic proposal that is presented, uses the approach through the use of structuring concepts, that of energy, for the teaching of electric circuits and its relation with the concepts of charge, electric current and potential difference. It is the beginning of a more advanced study topic in renewable energy education, with a focus on wind. It is noteworthy that this proposal is the result of a theoretical background analysis that refers to aspects such as: argumentative didactic model, history of sciences, STS relations, epistemology of the sciences and constructivist pedagogical model. There is also a proposal for a didactic unit, which is made up of a series of activities, which include a segment regarding thestudents previous ideas, a reading of a historical fact of science, a couple of laboratory and an evaluation proposal.
