Abstract:

Entrepreneurship generates positive effects on national competitiveness and regional development, increasing productivity, wealth and job opportunities. However, the process of forming new companies is complex, resulting from the interaction of situational, social, psychological, cultural and economic factors, which in turn are affected by other positive or negative factors, which define the success or failure of the same. Considering the above, and added that in Colombia 50% of SMEs do not survive the first year due to lack of strategies, the aim of this research was to propose strategies that support entrepreneurship and in turn favor sustainable growth. It was a non-experimental, transectional, descriptive study, which included interviews with experts in entrepreneurship and the application of Multipol, which resulted in classified strategies. It was concluded that the application of good strategies will always lead to business success.
