Fluxos e Saberes: uma discussão sobre internacionalização da educação, mobilidade acadêmica e as interfaces com o aumento de estudantes colombianos nas universidades públicas do Brasil. (Flows and Knowledges: a discussion about the internationalization of education, academic mobility and interfaces with the increase of Colombian students in public universities in Brazil)
This article presents the initial results of an ongoing research that analyzes the internationalization of higher education together with some national and international academic mobility programs, such as the Programa Estudantes-Convênio de Pós-Graduação (PEC-PEG) and the scholarships provided by the Organization of American States (OAS).Through a bibliographical study, a debate on the strategies of the expansion process of Brazilian universities and the internationalization of higher education as a fundamental part in the increase of Emancipação, Ponta Grossa, v. 19 (1), p. 1-13, e10772, 2019.Disponível em <http://www.revistas2.uepg.br/index.php/emancipacao>foreign students is sought.Initial conclusions indicate that there is a great similarity between the number of scholarships offered with the recent increase of Colombian students in Brazil.
