This research article seeks to understand the gender concept from the stories and narratives of the youth at school naming some subjects as those Others. To do so, some lines emergent and integrating with subjectivities, the otherness, and the gender were outlined, and combined with the educational force of the life stories as a dialogical relationship. This work is also an enquiry from the perspective of qualitative research and the implication and school interaction. This way, it aims to situate the narratives bringing about some tensions regarding the gender and institutionality that move the involved subjects. In this vein, the youth’s words are found in an intertwining where, from the Others’ voice, question the school spaces in order to interrelate practices, senses and conceptions about something that people being at the school want to say regarding the Other School and the gender. From this perspective, a quest into the interstices of school life is started, i.e., to wonder about the subjects in order have a look at the alterity, the diverse, and their singularities. This discussion allows the recognition of this project as an unfinished process serving as a proposal to rethink the school and the social constructions going around the concepts of gender, sex and sexuality
