This writting was turned into the book of the doctoral thesis that Sergio Eduardo Carrera presented in 2013 at the UNAM under the title "Conformación de la territorialidad española y de los pueblos de indios en la Sierra Huasteca". Under the tutelage of Carlos Sempat Assadourian, this work has a valuable synthesis of the agrarian policy of the sixteenth, seventeenth and eighteenth centuries that will help him win the XV Banamex Atanasio G. Saravia Award for Mexican Regional History 2012-2013 and the Francisco Prize Javier Clavijero of History and Ethnohistory in 2014.
