Descriptions of the males of Deltorhinum batesi Harold and the species originally described as D. robustum Génier are provided. Deltorhinum genieri sp. nov. is described. Deltorhinum robustum is moved to the genus Ateuchus Weber due to characters unshared with other Deltorhinum species but present in several species presently in Ateuchus. To avoid homonymy this species is renamed Ateuchus genieri n. n. An identification key slightly modified from the one proposed by Génier's work is provided. Updated distribution maps are also supply for the species known up to now in the genus Deltorhinum.
