In research conducted by Calva and Alfaro (2019), a robotic process automation (RPA) system was implemented in Core Andina Group (a company that offers electronic invoicing services) with the objective of increasing the average percentage of registered electronic invoices which was 75.66% and reducing the average percentage of rejected electronic invoices which was 16.08%.
