This Research was focused in the measurement of an incidence of a learning strategy based on used of educational technologies in the pragmatic competence in English, through a quantitative study with a quasi-experimental design, which took part in a sample of 10 th grade students from a school in the rural sector in Montería city, Colombia. The results revealed better levels of appropriation in the pragmatic competence with the experimental group and determined criteria of effective application of digital resources in the learning processes of the English language.
