espanolEl siguiente trabajo intenta abordar de manera descriptiva la participacion de las Fuerzas Militares en las comisiones de la verdad de Guatemala y El Salvador con el objetivo de comprender el discurso generado en respuesta a este organismo y por tanto, determinar el posible impacto que tuvo en la identidad institucional. Para lograr dicho objetivo, se realiza un analisis discursivo de entrevistas en profundidad y de relatos de victimas en las comisiones. En este sentido, se lleva a cabo una aproximacion del proceso de consolidacion de las comisiones de la verdad dentro del proceso de justicia transicional. En segundo lugar, se procede a categorizar mediante el analisis discursivo los relatos de las comisiones de la verdad que influyen en las Fuerzas Militares y, finalmente, se proponen algunas categorias discursivas de las Fuerzas Militares en relacion a las comisiones de la verdad para comprender que tipo de participacion han tenido. EnglishThe following article tries to approach, in a descriptive way, the participation of the Armed Forces in the Truth Commissions of Guatemala and El Salvador being the main objective to understand the discourse generated in response to the Armed Forces and, therefore, to determine the possible impact it had on the institutional identity. To achieve this objective, a discursive analysis of interviews and reports of victims in the Truth Commissions has been carried out. Thus, first of all, an approximation of the consolidation process of the Truth Commissions within the transitional justice process is held out. Secondly, it will be carried out a categorization process of the stories obtained at the Truth Commissions, through a discursive analysis, that have an impact on the Armed Forces, and, finally, it will be proposed some discursive categories of the Armed Forces in relation to the Truth Commissions to understand the kind of participation they have had.
