International cooperation, inclusion and communication for development, are the three categories studied throughout this qualitative research, which take into account the relationship between them, based on the systematization of the experience accumulated by the Santa Rita Association for Education and Promotion –Funsarep– in Cartagena de Indias city. This document presents a journey from the voice of the protagonists and other key actors, combined with the review of secondary sources of information that show the women empowerment processes led by this organization through the communication and the international cooperation as development tools.
