The armed conflict in Colombia has had a differential impact on men and women. This situation is recognized in the Acuerdo Final para la Terminación del Conflicto y la Construcción de una Paz Estable y Duradera achieved with the Farc-EP. However, the ideology that permeates the presidential period 2018-2022 poses a series of obstacles to compliance with the gender approach incorporated in this Agreement. Therefore, this article proposes an analysis of the implementation of the gender approach in light of the prevailing ideology, identifying the obstacles to it. For this, a qualitative methodology is developed, using techniques of documentary research and textual analysis; finding the historical absence of the gender approach in previous processes, the substantial incorporation in the Acuerdo Final and the abandonment and misrepresentation of this perspective in the ideological background and the proposals foreseen for the new presidential term; constituting a worrying return in the guarantee of diversity.
