Objetivo. Analizar la legibilidad linguistica formal y la legibilidad tipografica del instrumento ECEETIC© en y proponer recomendaciones para su mejora en la construccion de la escala. Materiales y metodos . Estudio observacional, descriptivo. Una muestra digitada en Word del ECEETIC©. Se analizo el texto en cada oracion planteada usando el software Inflesz® y luego se realizo modificacion a cada parrafo, para determinar su puntuacion de Flesch y Fernandez Huertas, Resultados . El ECEETIC presenta una legibilidad linguistica de conjunto excelente con una media de puntuacion de Fernandez Huertas analizada fue de 52,41 (DE: 19,77), antes de hacer las correcciones y ajustes gramaticales y de 66,58 (DE: 11,44) luego de hacer los ajuste. Se observa mayor homogeneidad en los enunciados y el grado de dificultad segun la escala de Fernandez-Huertas paso de “bastante dificil” a “Normal”. Conclusiones. El ECEETIC propuesto con los ajustes muestra una legibilidad linguistica y tipografica que es mejor a los indices iniciales, se propone validar el instrumento con las correcciones gramaticales y tipograficas en poblacion general y en profesionales. Es preciso seguir investigando en las tecnicas de analisis de la legibilidad, especialmente de la legibilidad tipografica. Palabras Clave: Diabetes, insulina, Cooperacion, profesional de la salud.
