This article intends to respond to the problems raised in public sector entities created in a time not exceeding 3 years in relation to their business processes and how unstructured they may be at this stage, this was done having clear the role that ICTs currently work in organizations providing technological and software solutions to provide support in achieving the objectives proposed by senior management.Therefore, the BPMN methodology is presented as a proposal to provide support in this important task through the diagramming of its processes, thus seeking to facilitate the identification of the main activities, those responsible for them, and possible decisions that may affect the final result understood as the products and services offered, to 3 EL BPMN EN ENTIDADES DEL SECTOR PÚBLICO materialize the proposal, the diagramming of the processes of an entity with the characteristics indicated was carried out, an analysis of the modeled activities was carried out and the possibility of continuing with the implementation to the whole entity after an analysis of the results detected.It is important to clarify the use of the tool for the diagramming used is free license or freeware, so the scope of the results was limited to the limitations granted for this software version.
