Impact investments or triple bottom line investments are those that seek the intersection between economic, social and environmental benefits. Within its field of interest is the entrepreneurial type of rural associative population, which aims to join efforts of small producers to compete in the market. Taking into account the above, this text seeks to answer the question: How do triple bottom line investments contribute to the internationalization of associative ventures in Colombia? To do this, a qualitative research was proposed that exposes the link between the type of financing mentioned and access to foreign markets, through an inductive analysis based on the Grounded Theory with three case studies. From the evidences found, it is concluded that private capital can perform a decisive role in the consolidation of exports in associative companies, contributing to the sustainability of agriculture since it expands its market and favors the development of its productive processes, which benefits one of the most vulnerable sectors of the region in social and environmental terms.
