Pumping is one of the main processes in the production of shrimp. This process is linked to a high consumption of diesel, therefore to the generation of CO 2 . The present project is aimed at the technical-financial study of the implementation of photovoltaic energy for the feeding of pumps. To mitigate the effects of the production of CO 2 emissions. The system analyzed has seven cameras that require pumps of 235 HP and 550 HP, which represents a high energy consumption. In this way, the economic and environmental viability of replacing the energy of the same with a clean energy system will be discussed.
