A software product line (SPL) approach is a planned assetscaled reuse strategy. SPL allows software organizations to save effort when they develop a set of products with common features, focused on a target market. Scoping is a crucial activity during the SPL development and evolution. There are some investigations that address communicative and collaborative aspects related to number and diversity of participants required by the SPL scoping. However, there are still several limitations related to the ambiguity of scope specification, how it should be structured scope, that artifacts make it up and how they should be performed. In this paper, we propose a collaborative method for SPL Scoping (CoMeS). CoMeS is a method designed to guide the stakeholder's team in carrying out the necessary tasks and steps for scope definition. The goal of this method is to strengthen the collaboration between the different roles that participate and mitigate the problems of an interdisciplinary activity with stakeholders who have different interests and knowledge.
