In this paper we show the implementation of an experimental occupancy measurement algorithm using cyclostationary detection, according to ITU-R SM.1392-2 and SM.1880 Recommendations, and compare the results with traditional procedures. We evaluate the results against real occupancy data in the FM broadcast service and licensing information from national regulator.
