This study analyzes the case study as a didactic strategy for the promotion of consilience in students of cycle V, from the integration of knowfedge of the natural Sciences and social Sciences, to give possible answers to the phenomena that their context presents. This is why it is very ¡mportant to see the natural Sciences as a whole and not as ¡solated disciplines (Chemistry, Physics and Biology) taking into account that the natural Sciences, and the knowledge of the social and human Sciences are the integrative tool of knowledge. This allows the individual to give a systemic explanation of the world around him and thus survive Thus, as it was possible to show that consilience is present in the school environment, consilience is a fundamental part of the educational process, it is possible to achieve a harmonious balance between humanistic, scientific, axiological and practical aspects, based on a adequate mediation in which the role of the teacher and the student are transformed, the teacher acts as mediator. that is to say coordinator of the actions of the students, providing the key questions that allow them to establish the direct and immediate relations between the student's mind and the Object of their interest, the student is actively involved in the process, preparing the activities, exposing their ideas, working in groups and building their knowledge. For this reason, the case study as a viable didactic strategy for the promotion of consilience.
