The appropriate using of biomedical devices is an important factor when talking about patient safety, owing to the fact that can reduce the amount of adverse events due to human mistakes. With this purpose, institutions that offer health services draw on arrangements like giving periodic training or quick guides implementation. Seizing the great acceptance of information technologies and its benefits, a mobile application was developed as an easy access tool, which offer two components to medical and support staff. The first one allows access to operation, cleaning and troubleshooting quick guides, replacing the traditional printed ones and expediting problems solving when is not necessary a technician. The second component use Virtual Reality to emulate biomedical devices functioning. This tool gives flexibility and independence in training to users, besides it facilitate learning process due to virtual device disposing.
