La lingüística descriptiva y aplicada a la enseñanza de lenguas: insumos teóricos para una propuesta curricular en un programa de pregrado en bilingüismo con énfasis español-inglés
This document is aimed at presenting a series of theoretical considerations about teaching and learning Linguistics and Applied Linguistics in an undergraduate Bachelor program in Bilingualism with emphasis on Spanish and English in Bogotá, Colombia. These theoretical contributions include the institutional and academic justifications of this field of study in an undergraduate program, the exploration of the concepts Linguistics and Applied Linguistics for Language teachers and, finally, some considerations about Didactics in general and Language Didactics in particular. Since little seems to have been written about, particularly, Didactics of Linguistics, this paper seeks to be fed from theories on human learning and language learning to then suggest their inclusion in some Didactics of Linguistics. Thus, this document presents some insights about the relation between teaching and learning Linguistics and Constructivism as well as problem-based, project-based and task-based learning. Similarly, subject content, instruction codes and ways of structuring such contents through didactic or thematic units are also topics of discussion.
