This reflection is based on some elements of debate, such as creative practices as art, design and architecture, known as activities that contribute to the creation of contemporary living and that are interdisciplinary. In this understanding it is alluded to the issues of social responsibility in the regions, current in countries like Colombia. In general terms, what is intended to show is how it is possible to leave academic scenarios to integrate into the reality of common life, with the idea to conceptualize the relevance of creative disciplines, and in the process, identify elements that account for the possible interventions of creativity in the regions. The case study will be the city of Medellín, Antioquia (Colombia); and with it we will advance in some notions with which we want to explore some of the creative ways,considered opportunities or intervention strategies, with which we will try the determined participation of the academics in the peace scenarios in the regions
