The article analyzes the perspective on women’s work and the role of women in the labor and social space presented in Ceteme, a newspaper created by the Confederation of Mexican Workers (CTM) in 1950. The analysis stems from the study of the column “Feminine Comments” by journalist and feminist Artemisa Sáenz Royo, Xóchitl, published from 1959 to 1968, to discuss the position of working women since the creation of the confederation, as well as the presence of a feminism with a conservative view on women’s work and the participation of women in public spaces.
