The purpose of this article is to present a comparative study of the existing processes in the field of entrepreneurship in secondary education in Colombia and Ecuador. It seeks to understand the actions that have been carried out, to contrast the forms of implementation of this subject in secondary education, and to identify the legal aspects that concern this training. This research project in comparative education was based on the documentary analysis of laws, curricula and guidelines, which allowed an approximation to two countries with similar profiles in the educational, social and economic spheres, but with different actions in the practical field of entrepreneurship. Among the study findings, the following aspects stand out as common: the existence of norms that regulate the incorporation of entrepreneurship in schools, the compulsory nature of the subject in certain levels of secondary education, in addition to the need to have a unified curriculum. On the other hand, divergences were found in the practical measures adopted to incorporate entrepreneurship education in educational institutions offering secondary education.
