This article shows the importance of the SENA’s evolution in Colombia, the progress achieved by the institution in the face of the accelerated changes imposed by globalization and its quality standards as well as the government policies, recognizing its permanent search for the workers, entrepreneurs and citizens benefit. The author analyzes the platforms that support the institution’s permanence, such as its competency-based approach, the human talent and its training and certification structure, concluding that its permanent transformation process has positioned the institution as the most loved by the Colombians and as a fundamental tool to address complex challenges such as post-conflict.
