With the purpose of proposing actions for improvement in psychosocial care with a differential focus of elderly people, victims of armed conflict, attended at the Center for Socio-Legal Orientation (COS) of Sincelejo (Sucre, Colombia) Psychological study of this population from the opening year of the center, 2011, to the year 2015. For this purpose, 24 psychological histories were taken into account in this period of time for elderly people between the ages of 60 and 82 years. These stories are made up of general data, reason for consultation, mental examination, personal and family history, observations, diagnosis, treatment plan and recommendations. Documentary analysis was used as a research technique, from a quantitative approach, based on the calculation of frequencies andpercentages. For the analysis of data, the mental examination section was used mainly because it is the most complete. The results indicate that the elderly people attended at this institution showed an attitude of sadness, worry and discouragement, as well as anxiety and anxiety. Most were located in time, place and space; Being able to mobilize by its own means. With a fluid and coherent language, his thinking is logical, coherent and rational, with a memory, mainly, eumnesica and euprosexica attention. Three of the stories found did not record mental examination. It is concluded that the elderly in this study are prone to depression and anxiety disorders, which should be worked at the center from brief psychotherapy.
