Resumen: Este trabajo estudia la vision de dos personajes muy importantes en el desarrollo de la historiografia occidental, y son Herodoto y Lucien Febvre, quienes en su tiempo abonaron el camino para un cambio en la forma como se debia estudiar el pasado; sus estudios fueron muy importantes para la epoca en que se realizaron, tanto es asi, que hasta el dia de hoy seguimos consultando a Herodoto y a Febvre. Uno por su lado hizo la transicion del mito a la historia dando origen a la Historia y el otro, revoluciono la forma de estudiar el pasado y de hacer historia, fundando junto con Marc Bloch la revista Annales de historia economica y social. Palabras clave: Herodoto, Febvre, Historia; historiografia Abstract: This work studies the vision of two very important prominent figures in the development of the western historiography, and they are Herodoto and Lucien Febvre, who in his(her,your) time paid the way for a change in the form how it had to study the past; his(her,your) studies were very important for the epoch in which they were realized, so much it(he,she) is like that, that until today we continue consulting Herodoto and Febvre. One for his(her,your) side did the transition of the myth to the history giving origin to the History and other one, it(he,she) revolutionized the way of studying the past and of doing history, founding together with Marc Bloch the magazine Annales of economic and social history.
