The objective of this study was to analyze the profile of Brazilian adults who know the offer of public programs of physical activity (PPAF) in Brazil.This is a cross-sectional study with data from the National Health Survey 2013.Knowledge of PPAF was the outcome the investigated and the explanatory variables were gender, marital status, age, race/ skin color, area of residence, education level, presence of deficiency, federation unit and geographic macro region.Associations were tested by the prevalence ratio.The results showed that 20.11% of adults know some PPAF in your county; women, non-black, people residing in the urban area, persons with having > 8 years of schooling and no-deficient possessed mre knowledge.It is concluded that one in five adults know some Brazilian PPAF, with higher prevalence among the regions with the highest socio-demographic development.It is suggested that the Ministry of Health prioritizes disclosure proposals in socioeconomically disadvantaged areas.
