Variables asociadas al riesgo de deserción y su relación con los beneficios y servicios ofrecidos por Bienestar al Aprendiz en el Centro de Servicios Financieros
Within the framework of the research study, “Diagnosis on the variables associated with the risk of dropping out by CSF trainees and the settlement of comprehensive strategies to address it”, carried out in 2016 at SENA Financial Services Training Centre -CSF-, dropping out was regarded as a multiple cause phenomenon involving academic, motivational, organizational, vocational, family, economic, time and distance variables. This paper focuses on those variables of socio-family and economic type related to the dropping out of trainees from their academic training and the impact of the benefits provided by the Trainees Welfare Area and the academic support provided by the academic co-ordinations of the CSF, in such variables. Measuring the risk of dropping out among trainees was carried out with a descriptive analytical methodology, through an instrument of the kind of virtual survey. From the focus group data of 932 apprentices in their teaching stage was collected, with a reliability of 95%. The results show that more than 70% of surveyed has knowledge of the benefits provided by Welfare to the Trainee, as well as the services provided by CSF. Likewise, the apprentices who are beneficiaries of this supply of benefits are located in a low probability of dropping out and the economic factor is shown as the variable that causes greater risk of academic dropping out.
