Throughout the years, the higher levels of corporations management, have built a better understanding of the way in which the cognitive and emotional skills of their staff have been a sustainable source of success and durability of their organizations, considering leadership as means for goal achievement. Today, in their historical role as providers of knowledge, universities face the challenge of training professionals with high cognitive skills and a deep level of reflection. Therefore, the purpose of the academia has expanded to the training of professionals with high interpersonal communication skills. In order to develop these skills, they need to identify and strengthen the students’ competencies from the classrooms themselves; the goal is to guarantee high performance in the academic, professional, social and personal areas.
